Wir haben 10 Tage in Khao Lak verbracht und wollten in möglichst kurzer Zeit viel sehen. Im Netz sind wir auf "Khaolak Vista Tours & Travel" gestoßen und haben 3 Dinge angefragt: Flughafen-Transfer, James Bond Aqua Safari und Khao Sok Lake Safari. Nach 2-3 Emails haben wir uns mit dem Veranstalter geeinigt und gebucht.
Transfer: wir wurden auf beiden Strecken (Ankunft, Rückflug) super pünktlich mit einem Toyota Bus abgeholt. Der Fahrer hat uns sicher und freundlich ans Ziel gebracht.
James Bond Aqua Safari: Wir wurden wieder pünktlich abgeholt. Diesmal von einem Fahrer+Guide. Danach haben wir noch ein paar andere Gäste eingesammelt und schon ging es zum Port. Auf der Strecke hat unser wirklich super netter Guide schon sehr viele Infos über den Ablauf des Tages als auch Wissenswertes über Thailand erzählt. Kurz bevor es zum Port geht, wird noch eine anständige Toilette gestoppt. Am Port angekommen, bekam jeder ein Getränk (mit Getränken wurde wir den gesamten Tag versorgt) und es ging auf ein Longtailboat. Danach fuhren wir durch den Mangrovenwald, vorbei an den typischen eindrucksvollen "Thailändischen Felsen" zum James Bond Felsen. Am Felsen selbst verbringt man nur ca. 1 Stunde. Das ist soweit in Ordnung, denn hier werden generell die Touristen durchgeschleust. Aber wenn man den Felsen sehen möchte, ist es unvermeidlich. Und für uns zählte eher das Motto der Weg ist das Ziel. Während der ganzen Zeit achtete unser Guide auf uns und gab immer wieder umfangreiche Informationen. Wir fühlten uns also sehr gut aufgehoben und genossen den Tag! Nachdem Felsen haben wir eine Kanutour gemacht, ein Floating Village besucht und den Cave Tempel besichtigt. Nachmittag wurden wir pünktlich am Hotel abgesetzt. So bleiben noch 2-3 Stunden um sich am Strand ein wenig von der Wärme zu erholen.
Khao Sok Lake Safari: Wie wir es nun schon gewohnt waren, war der Fahrer wieder pünktlich. Der Trip sollte zu viert stattfinden, durch einen glücklichen Zufall waren wir aber nur zu Zweit. Die An-und Abreise dauerte jeweils 2 Stunden. Zwar relativ lange, aber durch das zeitige Aufstehen, schliefen wir ca. 50 % der Strecke. Am Khao sok angekommen, brachte uns unser Guide wieder auf ein herrliches Longtailboat. Wir fuhren ca. 70 min über den See durch verschiedene Buchten zu einem Raft House, dort gab es Essen und man konnte schwimmen oder Kanu fahren. Der Weg auf dem Wasser war wirklich total beeindruckend. die Felsen, der Dschungel und die Farben um uns herum einfach ein absoluter Traum. Das Highlight auf dem Hinweg war eine kleine Wanderung durch den Dschungel und der dortigen Affenrufe von den Gibbons (eigentlich dachte wir die Rufe kommen von Vögeln). Während der ganzen Zeit kümmerte sich unser Guide wirklich super um uns, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Selbst beim Bilder machen bestimmter Felsenkombinationen hatte er wriklich viel Geduld mit uns

Hi we are 4 persons that would like the \"Private D.I.Y Phuket tour\", is it a private tour just for the 4 of us ? Can we plan ourself what to see in Phuket ? Can the tour be a bit shorter than 10 hours, since we have 2 persons that are older (79 + 80 years old) and 8 hours would be better for them. Best regards Brian

3 James Bond Aqua Safari (full day)
For the Elephant trekking and James Bond we were expertly guided by the fabulous and very knowledgeable Oil - who really couldn\'t have done any more to make our trips both enjoyable and informative. The weekend market trip did exactly what it says on the tin,but the other trips really were exceptional,both as an experience and as value for money - highly recommended.

Phuket by night
Any other ideas that you think would be good
We require flexibility as not all will want to and can do each activity.
Can you recommend an itinerary for the duration and cost.

Booked this trip after reading previous comments and can now say that we was not disappointed just returned after an excellent day.
Firstly we was welcomed by our guide for the day Oil and driver for the day (sorry forgot his name but was an excellent driver) nice comfortable,air conditioned mini bus.
Oil who speaks very good English and told us lots of local information also very attentive to all our needs all the time. Not only were drinks available but a very nice extra touch was the wet wipes they supplied.
Then transferred to a nice boat ride to sea cave canoeing which was great fun.
James bond island left us saying that we will now have to watch the film again when we return home.
Floating village for lunch which was unbelievably nice.
Reclining Buddha another good visit also monkeys entertaining .
Would highly recommend this trip and staff are a credit to the company from office staff who answered e mails very quickly and any questions we had to our tour guide Oil and her driver.

The tour was amazing, the elephant ride was awesome. Our tour guide took us to a morning market to start off with and showed us exotic fruits and explained them to us, Paul was very friendly and cared about our experience. The elephant ride was amazing, feeding her was fun too! The lunch we had was unbelievable and we wished we could eat it all but there was so much lovely Thai cuisine. It was a memorable experience and we promise we\'ll be back.

We booked this company after reading reviews on tripadvisor & it was the best decision we made. The email responses were almost immediate.
1st tour was Khao Lak in a day.......... We were the only ones on this day, so got the full attention of Tum our driver. He was on time to pick us up from our hotel, his van was spotlessly clean & air conditioned.First stop was a canoe ride down \"Little Amazon\" with our canoe paddler pointing out tree snakes etc on the way. Next was the tsunami memorial, cashew nut factory, then stopped for lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the bush with the tables & chairs IN the stream. The meal was delicious & plenty & was sooo nice to sit with your feet in the water on a hot day. Next stop was the highlight of our whole time in Thailand, the elephant Trek & bathing, a must do. We rode the elephant for about 20 minutes down to the water, then they took her seat off & she entered the water & we were helped back onto her. The man who looks after her was really nice & funny, trying to tip us off & getting her to squirt us with her trunk, we were drenched by the end. We were meant to go to the turtle conservation centre, but as we were going there on our next tour Tum took us to the markets instead. We learned so much from Tum that day all about his country, culture etc.A truly amazing day..
Tour 2 was James Bond Island.......... Again they were on time, our guide Alec & have forgotten the drivers name were lovely. Today there are 6 of us so still very personal. First stop Turtle Conservation centre then an hour or so drive through the countryside to get to our long boat to take us to the island. Alec told us many interesting things on the way. The island was pretty busy but not too bad. Next off to cave canoeing, this was fun. Next lunch on the floating village, delicious food & a tour around the village. On the way back a trip up the mangroves then back to the bus to take us to the monkey temple & reclining Buddah then home, a long day but enjoyable.
Both days there was always cold water to drink on the bus & even cold wipes for our hands {and faces after the elephants :-) }
The huge advantage of this company is the size of the tours, usually a max of 8 people I think. This gives such a personal touch & time to have questions answered etc. We saw other companies with packed speed boats & their customers were herded like sheep. I\'m sure they didn\'t see or learn half as much as we did.
We also arranged our transfer to Patong with Kha Lak Vista, apparently out of their usual range but were happy to arrange for us & cheaper than the hotel.
I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone.

Where do I start? This was an absolutely fantastic experience all round!! First of all it was a bit of a late decision to do this excursion as we only e-mailed the company the day before, we had an e-mail back within 15 minutes confirming pick up times from our hotel and prices. We settled on using this company after reading so many good reviews on trip advisor.
Our driver, Romeo, turned up on the dot and made us feel very welcome. And we were also surprised to see it was only my wife and myself in the car which made it feel like a really personal tour as it is our honeymoon. Romeo was very polite and didn\'t rush us around just let us do things at our own pace.
The elephant trek was an unbelievable experience and Romeo was kind enough to take plenty of pictures of us throughout the day on our camera.
I could go on all day with plaudits for the company and Romeo, so I\'ll just end it by saying, if you\'re looking for a good travel company, look no further! We don\'t have any other company to compare it to so can\'t say it\'s the best in Khao lak, but we certainly wouldn\'t hesitate to use them again. Absolutely amazing day and we both loved every minute of it. Thanks again to Romeo for making the day special.

we had been on a few different tours around thailand with OTHER company\"s where their tour guide could not speak english, but thought that must be the norm.
When we got to KHAOLAK, we first booked a tour with KHAOLAK VISTA through the motel we were staying at, and after having done this excursion, we made sure that we BOOKED EVERYTHING through KHAOLAK VISTA.
Our tour guide\'s name was \"OIL\" and she was a beautiful Thai girl that spoke great english, with a fantastic personality that just got our aussie humour, and she was very knowledgeable in everything she had to show us. We were travelling with 2 kids, and Oil made them feel very important and part of the tour.
We booked the Markets, temples and tsunami memorial temple first, and this was a fantastic half day excursion that showed us a great deal of the Khao lak area and its people.
We were so impressed with Oil\'s guidance that we booked her excursion to JAMES BOND ISLAND as soon as we got off the bus.
The James bond island tour is a must, and when you consider you are with your guide and driver for the full day, it was a true pleasure to have shared it with OIL, and her trusty driver \'HAPPYMAN\"
We also had to ask for a few extra stop-offs on the way to pick up supplies or to visit other places we knew were nearby, and they were more than happy to oblige, and often went out of their way to help us get what we were after.
I definetely recommend this company, and in particular, OIL and HAPPY MAN for a great day site-seeing

The whole staff is professional and friendly. We pre-booked two tours from the UK. (Khao Sok day trip, and Phang-nga Bay, also an airport pick up) and they worked it out according to our schedule. On time pick up. GREAT fun and friendly guide (Shawn). Only 4 tourists in the group. I would definetely come back. Thank you Khaolak Vista !!
